Good Evening Boys,
What a Great day we had today. Your mom and dad took the day off and we drove up to Battle Creek to the Binder Park zoo boo and we stopped at Turkeyville for dinner before. You boys get so excited it's worth every moment.
Joey you started the day in preschool where mommy got to come join you for a story, songs and vegetable soup. You get so excited when you see me -it makes my heart sing and I hope you always get that excited when I walk in the door. You wanted to run over to me and sit with me, you were so happy you didn't even want to sing the songs. I cherish these moments, I hope I can always be a part of your days at school. Ms. Karol says you are doing so well and you are very polite. Your mom and dad already know that though.
Noah is so proud if you as his Big Brother, he told everyone in child center that his brother joey was making "basketball" (vegetable) soup. He was so proud, we had to scrape the bowl so he could share in your creation.
After preschool we came home and took a quick nap before we ventured on our road trip to battle creek. Your dad and I thought it would be fun to stop at turkeyville to see the colors, take some pictures and have dinner before the zoo. You boys didn't think this was a great idea because you were more interested in the "Great oo Boo" and Joey reminded us regularly that he does not like Turkey. Dispite your initial reisitance, you did end having a GREAT time. We took some great pictures and you ate Turkey (because we told you it was chicken.) and you were able to play for a few minutes on their tractor playground.
Shortly thereafter we arrived at the zoo boo and you were both squeling with joy as we saw the signs. I am smiling from ear to ear as a write this because it brings me such joy to see you boys so excited. We went trick or treating, went on the haunted train (Joey you kept mommy and daddy safe), rode the carousel and saw a pirate show that neither of you were interested in. Now although you had fun, you both don't do well waiting and I thought I was going to loose my mind with as much as you whined to be picked up, eat candy....
The zoo was amazingly beautiful and just fun to look at. Joey you stuck up for Noah today in a brave manner. Daddy got mad at Noah and you said very firmly "Dad, don't talk to my little brother Noah like that--he is a good boy and you were mean to him." I was impressed and daddy didn't know what to say. You also were very concerned when Noah was tired on the way home and was crying. You said "Mommy lets sing some songs for Noah" and when he stopped crying, you shouted with glee "Mommy its working, he stopped crying!"
Noah you are talking up a storm, you want so badly to be a "big boy" sometimes you act older then Joe. You are very willing to do anything and try new things. Not much bothers you at all. We really need to work on the potty training--but you have the cuttest little voice I have ever hear, I want it to stay like this forever.
Important notes:
Joey was a storm trooper from Star Wars and Noah was a pirate.
We are getting ready to move in a week to a new house where you will share the coolest fire truck bunk bed.
We tought Joey to say "crap" instead of "fuck"--mommy and daddy are getting much better. I'm sorry we haven't been the best influence in this matter.
Bed time routine:
each pick 1 book, we sing: You are my sunchine, ship in the water, jesus loves me, twinkle twinke, ABC's and Goodnight, we give a kiss, hug, fist bump and high 5 (Noah will not go to bed until this is done multiple times)
Joey goes to bed with his compfy polka dot blanket and Noah has his favorite stuff dog Sammy with his green blanket.
Please know I love you more than words could ever say. I think of you both all the time when I am not home and I enjoy nothing more then watching you have fun, smilling and laughing. I know many moms would say the same--but I can not imagine my life without you both. Each of you with your own personalities make my like complete. Thanks boys for being the BEST sons a mom could ever ask for.
LOVE YOU INFINITY!!!!
